RMMA News. Bruce Battey , who is a member of the Desert Roadrunners, has resigned his position as SR VP of RMMA. Bruce was replaced by Russ Westcott

 STANDING RULES AND REGULATIONS

 The following Standing Rules and Regulations have been adopted by the Chapter membership effective May 1, 2004. These Standing Rules and Regulations shall remain in effect until changed by the membership through majority vote. These Standing Rules and Regulations shall in no way supplant the letter or intent of the Bylaws of the Chapter, RMMA, or FMCA.

1. The Desert Roadrunners chapter is an affiliate chapter of RMMA and FMCA.

2. Desert Roadrunners members must be, and remain, members in good standing of FMCA.

3. The Chapter shall conduct seven (7) rallies per year, and two ‘dinner meetings’. Rallies will be held the last full weekend of each month, except in November and December when alternate dates, not in conflict with the major holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, may be selected. Rallies will be held during the months of October, November, December, January, February, March and April. Dinner Meetings will be held in the months of September and May at a time, date and place to be announced.

4. Annual dues will be ten dollars ($10.00) per year, unless changed by majority vote of the membership. Dues are due October 1 st of each year. Members who are three (3) months in arrears will be dropped from the active Chapter roster effective January 1 st.

5. Individual ‘Rally Fees’ may be assessed to cover the costs of supplies or equipment related to the rally. These fees shall not exceed $5.00 per participating coach unless voted on by the membership.

6. Organizational Year runs from October 1 st through September 30 th. Officers will serve during this period.

7. Election of officers is held at the March rally each year. The Nominating Committee will be elected by the membership not later than the November rally each year.

8. The Chapter official name tag will be worn Friday through Sunday of each rally.

9. Quiet Time: Members will respect a quiet time from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. at each rally.

10. There will be no smoking in buildings or during meals while the membership is gathered.

11. Pets will not be brought into buildings or around food areas outside buildings. Members will observe pet rules established by RV Parks.

12. The Chapter will conduct a ‘50/50 Drawing’ at each rally with 50% of the monies going to worthy causes by the membership.

13. Guests are welcome and encouraged to attend Chapter rallies/dinners. After two visits guests are expected to join the Chapter. Sponsors of guests are expected to ensure fees associated with the rally/dinner activities are paid.

14. Business meetings are held at each Chapter rally. Meetings are held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday mornings.

15. Members are expected to leave camp sites cleaner than they were found.
